Eric Marcos has a wealth of experience in the IT field, beginning with their role as a Web Developer at Platanosnaranjas in 2007. Eric then moved on to Digital Seed in 2010 as a Full Stack Developer, followed by a role as a UI/UX Engineer at Pal Robotics in 2011. In 2013, they Co-Founded Dareyoo, and in 2015 they Co-Founded Teamwin, where they wrote most of the code for the platform. In 2016, they took on two roles: CTO & Co-Founder at Hubtype, and Vice Dean of New Trends in IT at COEINF, with the goal of promoting the latest cutting-edge technologies and defending the rights of freelancers.

Eric Marcos completed their high school education at Súnion ICC from 1996 to 2003. Eric then attended Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from 2003 to 2009, where they obtained an Enginyeria Informàtica degree in Computer Science, Mathemathics, and Physics. In 2008, they also attended The University of Texas at Dallas, where they studied Computer Science with a focus on Natural Language Processing, Quantum Computing, Combinatorics & Graphs Algorithms, and Data Mining.

In addition, Eric Marcos has obtained several certifications from Coursera and Y Combinator, including Deep Learning Specialization, Sequence Models, Getting Started with Google Kubernetes Engine, Convolutional Neural Networks, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, Neural Networks and Deep Learning, Structuring Machine Learning Projects, Startup School Online, and Machine Learning.
