David Bates

David Bates currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Linus Health and has been in this role since June 2019. In addition to this position, David is the Managing Partner at Tamarisc and a Member of the Board of Directors at TMCity, where the focus is on investing in transformative research and technology. David contributes to several organizations as a Board Member, including Huckleberry Labs, Northspyre, Bevi, and previously SmartCSM, as well as serving as a Board Observer for Aural Analytics. As a Member of the Scientific Advisory Board for the Digital Medicine Society, David is involved in advancing digital medicine initiatives. David co-founded Bode and holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical and Materials Engineering from The University of Auckland and a Master’s Degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
