Benjamin Irving

Benjamin Irving is an accomplished professional in the field of machine learning and medical imaging, currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager in Applied Machine Learning at Hudl since March 2025. Prior experience includes roles as VP of Machine Learning and Imaging at Huma, where leadership focused on ML/AI solutions in healthcare. At Sensyne Health, Benjamin led a team in medical imaging and deep learning projects, contributing significantly to advancements in lung disease and cancer diagnostics. Various positions held at Perspectum Diagnostics Ltd. and the University of Oxford emphasized expertise in imaging science and machine learning research. Benjamin holds a PhD in Computer Vision, Medical Imaging, and Machine Learning from UCL, along with an MSc in Biomedical Engineering and Medical Imaging, and a BSc in Physics and Applied Mathematics from the University of Cape Town.
