Daniel Shaefer

Daniel Shaefer has a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Drake University. Daniel has held various positions in software engineering and management roles at companies such as Blockbuster, Source Allies Inc., Rain and Hail Insurance, Dwolla, and currently at Hudl. Their experience includes leading teams in IT, product engineering, data quality, infrastructure, and enterprise systems. As a senior director, Daniel oversees engineering functions for competitive sports product teams, security, data engineering, business operations, and media. In previous roles, Daniel has managed teams responsible for software development, infrastructure, and DevOps, as well as led projects related to internal accounting systems and document generation for insurance policies.
