We are a social impact organisation who works with the most visionary people and organisations to help individuals gain financial freedom and companies to invest in financial wellness. We gift our profits to your workers and also to community impact projects. The Hug Academy has two aims: Tuition - to raise the level of financial literacy (something we believe should be taught in schools) so that everyone has the skills to better manage their personal finance and become wealthier if they wish to. Community impact - our excess company profits fund local community projects to increase social mobility and help to redistribute wealth where it's needed most. When we make society wealthier we provide families with more social mobility and generational opportunities whilst reducing inequality, crime and extremism. Wealthier societies stimulate more consumer confidence which helps businesses prosper and grow, and so a virtuous circle forms. At Hug we believe that everyone has a right to basic financial education so that they have the tools and resources to change their futures. With a little knowledge, a little capital and a little focus anyone can increase their wealth, and therefore their social mobility.
