Amy Roberts

Amy Roberts is a skilled Machine Learning Engineer currently working at Hugging Face and a Recurser at the Recurse Center since March 2025. With prior experience at nPlan and Farfetch, Amy has developed a Bayesian A/B testing framework and contributed significantly to a cross-functional search engine optimisation project. Earlier roles include being a Graduate Data Scientist at Channel 4, where a complex advertising segmentation machine learning infrastructure was co-led, enhancing its reliability and extensibility. Amy holds a Master's degree in Bioengineering from the University of Cambridge, an MRes in Web Science and Big Data Analytics from UCL, and a Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering from the University of Cambridge, along with a management qualification from UHI.
