Lysandre Debut

Lysandre Debut serves as the Chief Open-Source Officer at Hugging Face since March 2019, overseeing the Open-Source, Developer Advocacy, Moonshot Factory, and On-Device ML teams. Previously, Lysandre held the role of Head of Open-Source and was the first full-time open-source engineer on the Hugging Face Transformers team. Additionally, Lysandre has contributed as a board member on the marketing committee for the PyTorch Foundation since June 2023. Earlier professional experiences include software engineering roles at Molcure and work as a project manager for Airbus. Lysandre's educational background includes degrees from ESEO and Lycée Pilote Innovant International, culminating in a Baccalauréat in Engineering.
