Guo Chen

Guo Chen has extensive experience in microwave and RF hardware engineering, currently serving as an Advisory Engineer at Hughes Network Systems since June 1997. Chen began as a Member of Technical Staff, focusing on the design and development of microwave and millimeter-wave plumbing systems for Ku band and Ka band VSAT products. Prior experience includes a summer position at Los Alamos National Laboratory, designing a microwave filter with a novel tunable dielectric thin film. Chen's career also includes roles at Taiji Computer Corporation and the North China Institute of Computing Technology, where a mix of engineering and sales responsibilities were undertaken. Educational achievements include a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Microwave/Electrophysics from the University of Maryland, as well as similar degrees from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China and Zhejiang University.
