Michael Leiterman has over three decades of experience in the engineering field, currently serving as the Director of Materials Engineering at Hughes Network Systems since 1994. Prior roles at Hughes Network Systems include Senior Manager, Principal, and Senior Materials Engineer. Before joining Hughes, Michael worked at Litton Amecom from 1984 to 1994 as a Senior and Reliability Assurance Engineer. Michael holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and an Associate's Degree in Science and Engineering from Springfield Technical Community College. Additionally, Michael graduated from Agawam High School in 1979.
