Simon Chu

Simon Chu has over 20 years of experience in product design, R&D management, engineering, and research. Simon began their career in 2000 as a Researcher at ITRI, where they were in charge of the integration of optical mechanisms and electronics. Simon then moved to Digital Photonics Corporation in 2007, where they were an Engineer responsible for the development of electrical control systems for digital printers and large-scale UV inkjet. In 2011, they became the R&D Manager at AUO, and most recently they were appointed Director of Product Design at Hukui Bio in 2021.

Simon Chu obtained their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from National Taiwan University in 1998. Simon then went on to obtain their Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same university in 2000. Simon also has various certifications, such as a Neural Networks for Machine Learning certification from Coursera obtained in April 2017, a Machine Learning certification from Coursera obtained in December 2015, and a Self-driving Car Nano-degree from Udacity.
