Haiming Tan

Haiming Tan has a diverse work experience in industries such as data science, research, and technical support. Most recently, Haiming served as an NLP Expert Manager at Huma.AI, where they led a team in developing and implementing algorithms for medical data projects. Haiming also worked as a Data Scientist at the same company, where they designed and developed an AI-based chatbot for question-answer services. Prior to that, Haiming worked as a Data Scientist at Vaisala, where they gained experience in data analysis. Haiming also served as a Research Assistant at Colorado State University, where they worked on projects related to radar precipitation estimation and forecasting, and designed a back-end operation and data storage system for NASA's D3R Radar. Haiming also worked as a Data Analyst at Sandhill Scientific, a Graduate Teaching/Research Assistant at Colorado State University, and an International Service Engineer at URIT Sales Company, where they provided technical support for medical analyzers.

Haiming Tan's education history starts in 2003 when they enrolled at Zhejiang University. They completed their Bachelor of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering in 2008. Following this, from 2010 to 2013, Haiming pursued a Master of Science degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering at Colorado State University. In 2016, Haiming returned to Colorado State University and obtained a second Master's degree, this time in Computer Science, which was completed in 2017.
