Angus Reed is currently serving as an R&D Program Manager at Huma since July 2019, where responsibilities include supporting the Clinical Lead and Head of R&D, overseeing R&D projects, participating in M&A decisions, designing commercial and insurance propositions, and creating digital biomarkers from conceptualization to validation. Previously, Reed worked as a Clinical Research Consultant in Special Projects at Huma and completed an MSci degree in Biochemistry, Structural and Cellular Biology at UCL from 2016 to 2020, during which a final year research project in the UCL Algae Research Group focused on mitochondrial gene regulation. Additional experience includes community engagement as a rugby coach with the Rugby Football Union and as a volunteer youth coach at Didsbury Toc H RFC.
