Greg Garrison

Greg Garrison is an accomplished talent and recruiting leader with extensive experience across multiple organizations globally. Currently serving as VP Talent at Coinbase since July 2021, Garrison oversees talent and recruiting initiatives across North America, APAC, EMEA, and Latin America. Previous roles include Head of Recruiting and Senior Director of Engineering & Product Recruiting at Coinbase, as well as Director of Talent Acquisition at Amazon Web Services and Austin Site Director at Google, where Garrison led talent strategies for a regional office and a global team of approximately 900 professionals. Garrison co-founded Startup Staffing, later acquiring vcfo and expanding its recruiting services, and co-founded Career Communities, focusing on web-based recruitment solutions for startups. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science and participation in a Human Resource Management Program from The University of Texas at Austin.
