Alex Schleifer

Alex Schleifer is a seasoned creative professional with extensive experience in the design and video game industries. Currently serving as Creative Director and Co-Founder of HUMAN COMPUTER, an independent video game studio, Alex also holds a position in Product & Design at The Game Band, contributing to the community-driven game Blaseball. Additionally, as a Venture Partner at Rise Capital, focus is on expansion-stage investments in emerging market internet businesses. Previously, Alex was the Founder of Universal Entities and Chief Design Officer at Airbnb, where significant design leadership was provided. Additional roles include SVP of Design & Creative Director at Say Media and co-founding UX Magazine, which became a leading authority in user experience design. Throughout a diverse career that began in 1998 as a co-founder and CEO of Sideshow, an award-winning creative digital agency, Alex has consistently demonstrated a blend of creative vision and business acumen.
