Athanasios Oikonomou

Athanasios Oikonomou is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Human Technopole, focusing on the integration of computational and bioinformatic projects in translational biology, particularly in the field of precision medicine. Prior to this, Athanasios was a PhD Student and Early Stage Researcher with the ARCH project at Fondazione M. Tettamanti Menotti De Marchi, concentrating on targeted therapies for high-risk childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Athanasios has also gained experience in immunology and hematology through positions at AstraZeneca, Rigshospitalet, and DTU – National Veterinary Institute, alongside conducting research at the Centre for Research & Technology Hellas. Athanasios holds a Master's degree in Immunology & Inflammation from the University of Copenhagen and a Bachelor's degree with an integrated Master's in Biological Applications & Technology from the University of Ioannina.
