Fava Eugenio currently serves as the Head of National Facilities at Human Technopole since November 2024. Prior to this role, Fava was the Head of Core Research Facilities and Services at DZNE from September 2009 to November 2024, where responsibilities included the establishment of multiple technology platforms and supervision of personnel in core research facilities. Fava also worked as a Group Leader in System Phenomics, focusing on neurodegenerative diseases and employing advanced computational biology techniques. Earlier experience includes a Project Leader role at the Max Planck Institute for Cell Biology and Genetics, leading pharmaceutical collaborations, and serving as the Head of Assay Development. Fava's research background includes significant contributions to neurodegenerative disease studies and new microscopy technologies at the Medical Research Council Toxicology Unit. Fava holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Toxicology from the University of Konstanz and a Master's degree in Biology from Università degli Studi della Tuscia.
