Francesca Giannese

Senior manager of Technology Development Unit, National Facility for Genomics

Francesca Giannese is currently the Senior Manager of the Technology Development Unit at the IU4 National Facility for Genomics, where they focus on advancing genomics technologies. From 2012 to 2024, Francesca worked as a Teaching Assistant at Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele Milano, contributing to the Chemistry and Biochemistry laboratory class. Additionally, from 2017 to 2024, they served as the Innovation Area Coordinator at Ospedale San Raffaele, leading the implementation of novel genomics technologies. Francesca earned a PhD in Complex Systems for Life Sciences from the University of Turin and holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Medical Biotechnology from Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca.
