Lisa is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Certified Equine Facilitation Practitioner.

Humanity Academy is a social enterprise co-founded by Lisa and David, two experienced professionals. Lisa and David bring decades of experience from a range of sectors, including mental health, education, community development, and sustainability.

They have both worked with at-risk and marginalized populations, including those experiencing homelessness, youth, folks transitioning out of correctional facilities, and providing support and services to help individuals overcome barriers and build better lives. They also both support organizations doing this work. 

Together, Lisa and David have facilitated a wide range of events, workshops, and training sessions on topics such as respectful communication, anger management, community development, and mental health. Their collaborative and engaging approach uses interactive, creative and participatory methods to create meaningful and lasting dialogue and change.

At Humanity Academy, Lisa and David are committed to leveraging their collective expertise and passion for creating positive change in the world. They believe that by working together, we can build more just, equitable, and sustainable communities.
