Randy Ullrich has worked in the technology industry since 1985. Randy began their career as a Software Engineer at Systems Engineering Associates (SEA), where they developed several computer-based training, e-Learning and simulation systems for an R&D arm of the U.S. Navy. In 1994, they joined Accenture as a Senior Consultant, where they worked on two primary engagements, including oversight of Accenture's first Siebel CRM Solution Center on-site at Siebel's headquarters in Silicon Valley. In 1996, they became President & CEO of SEA, leading the company to more than 10x growth in revenues, clients, and employees between 1996 and 2000. In 2000, they joined NextLeft as Managing Director Technology, where they managed the firm's technology group, including software/web and infrastructure practices and internal IT. In 2007, they founded FiveSprockets, Inc., an online community servicing screenwriters and filmmakers. In 2009, they founded RapDevPro LLC, a boutique software consultancy with a focus on full-stack app platforms for clients and RapDevPro, including mobile and cloud components. In 2011, they joined Humetrix.com, Inc. as SVP Business Development, where they worked on integrating with Apple's HealthKit to access wearables, monitoring and other health-related data for use by the app platforms. In 2018, they joined LHPH Capital as a Fractional CTO.

Randy Ullrich attended San Diego State University from 1981 to 1986, where they obtained a BS in Computer Science. Randy then returned to San Diego State University from 1988 to 1993 and obtained an MBA in Finance. Randy also attended UC San Diego, though no degree or field of study was obtained.
