Michael Tomlins has had a successful career in the tech industry. Michael began their career in 2002 as a Non Executive Director and Business Development Manager at Infomedia. Michael then moved up to Commercial Director and eventually CEO. In 2016, they co-founded Humley, a natural language engagement and artificial intelligence company, and became a Non-Executive Director. In 2020, they co-founded Apaya, a commerce automation platform, and serves as the Co-Founder and CEO.

Michael Tomlins attended Keele University from 1997 to 2000, where they obtained an LLB in Law. Michael then attended the University of the West of England from 2001 to 2002, where they obtained a BVC in Law. Additionally, they attended the Inner Temple, London from 2001 to 2002, where they obtained a Bar School BVC.
