Candice is a certified human-centered design practitioner (LUMA Institute) focused on strategy, project management, and hands-on development of digital marketing solutions. She is focused on improving access to technology and innovation that enhances mobility and empowers those who have traditionally been excluded from the benefits promised by technology. As part of this commitment, she is currently completing her IIAP CPACC (Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies) training and testing. Candice has actively engaged in tech accessibility campaigns, events, and initiatives in collaboration with Pittsburgh Robotics Network, Catalyst Connection, Neighborhood Allies, and many other organizations In the Pittsburgh community. She also provided digital marketing, web development, and technical support for the Eradicate Hate Global Summit, which convened global leaders and subject matter experts to pursue the “eradication of hate speech and violent extremism—in all its forms —around the world.”
In her free time, Candice loves to support and uplift her community while serving as the Tech Committee, Co-Manager for getWITit and volunteering for Rebuilding Together Pittsburgh and The Asservo Project, a nonprofit combatting human trafficking.
Candice holds an M.A. in Media Communications from Point Park University, a certification in Web Development from CareerFoundry, and a B.A. in Business Administration from Ashland University.
