John Törnblom

John Törnblom has extensive work experience in various engineering roles. John started their career in 2012 as a structural engineer at J2 Offshore Development AB and simultaneously completed their master's thesis at Bassoe Technology. In 2015, they joined MacGregor as an R&D engineer and later became a customer innovation engineer. At MacGregor, they worked until 2020. Since 2020, John has been employed by Humphree AB, where they initially held the position of project manager and currently serves as the mechanical engineering manager.

John Törnblom has a strong education background in engineering, specifically in the fields of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. John earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology, where they studied from 2007 to 2010. John furthered their education by obtaining a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. John first pursued this degree at Instituto Superior Técnico from 2010 to 2011 before transferring to Chalmers University of Technology and completing their studies there from 2011 to 2012.
