Hunehar is a distinguished non-profit organization, founded in 2012, with a noble mission: ensuring the fundamental right to education for every child. Our unwavering commitment lies in providing high-quality education, empowering young minds, and offering vital psycho-social support to out-of-school children in underserved areas of Pakistan.

At Hunehar, we meticulously identify deserving children and facilitate their enrollment in reputable schools across Islamabad and Rawalpindi. We focus on children who, due to financial constraints or challenging home circumstances, have been deprived of primary education. We also welcome collaboration with sponsors and donors, encouraging them to reach out whenever they encounter a child in need of financial assistance.

In a significant stride towards our mission, Hunehar established The Hunehar Welfare School in Mehrabadi, a village on the outskirts of Islamabad. Through proactive community engagement and awareness sessions, we inspire the locals to enroll their children in our school.

Hunehar Welfare School has successfully enrolled over 170 children since its inception in 2017. Presently, our school spans seven grades: Playgroup, Nursery, Kindergarten, and Grades 1-5. Every year or so, we add a grade, with our long-term vision being to provide education up to Matriculation. Committed to women's empowerment, our school boasts an all-female faculty, rigorously trained under the guidance of Ms. Saima Rehman, Principal at Roots School System. We follow the prestigious Oxford International Curriculum, ensuring a world-class educational experience for our students.
Our school provides essential facilities including a library, computer lab, and a playground, enhancing the overall learning environment.
