Ashish is responsible for music and video content acquisitions across all verticals of Hungama. He is also responsible for the conceptualization, budgeting, production and final roll out of Hungama Originals – original stories for digital audiences. Besides acquisitions, he also heads the production and operations departments at Hungama.
In a career spanning 28 years, Ashish has worked across several verticals of the entertainment industry, including digital, home video and music. Prior to Hungama, he was the Business Head at BoxTV.com, a Times Internet Limited venture. He has also worked with Reliance Big Entertainment (Home Video division), where he was responsible for the acquisition of 3 of the biggest Hollywood studios – Warner Home Video, Universal Pictures International and Paramount Home Entertainment. Additionally, he has worked at Saregama India Limited, Video Master Dubai, Tips Industries, Plus Music, BMG Crescendo, Hi Hat Music & More and Times FM, in different capacities.
