Benjamin Zhang

Benjamin Zhang is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Director of Engineering - Platform at Hungryroot since November 2020, where responsibilities include managing a team focused on fostering a culture of sharing and learning. Previously, Benjamin held multiple engineering roles within Hungryroot, including Lead Software Engineer - Internal Service & Architecture and Senior Software Engineer, contributing to significant improvements in customer experience and development practices. Prior experience includes positions at Kargo and MayStreet, where Benjamin worked on full-stack development and web applications using various technologies. Benjamin holds a Master of Science in Information Systems and a Master of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from New York University, as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration in Tourism Management from Shanghai University of International Business and Economics.
