Hunt Properties is a privately held commercial real estate developer and principal investor located in Dallas, Texas. Since 1975, Hunt Properties has built a reputation as a national leader in commercial real estate development.

When it comes to retail real estate, few other companies offer the insightful, hands-on, ownership perspective of Hunt Properties. Our regional and neighborhood retail centers are built around strong demographics and anchored by national tenants such as Target, Home Depot, Wal-Mart, Kroger, Safeway, and Academy. Through 2015, we have developed more than 7 million square feet of open-air retail space. 

Complementing our retail operations, Hunt Properties has developed over 2 million square feet of Class A office space ranging from single story garden office to downtown high-rise product.
 
Our diverse and versatile development team has completed a wide variety of development projects from single-family master-planned communities to large blocks of bulk warehouse space.


HISTORY

In 1975, Hunt Properties formed to provide real estate management and advisory services for the vast real estate holdings of the late oil man, H.L. Hunt’s family.
 
In 1986, under the direction of new leadership, the company opened its doors to third party institutional investors and private property owners, providing our full scope of services for real estate projects of every type, size, and location.
 
Since 1987, Hunt Properties has strategically planned, developed, and managed more than $2.5 billion worth of real estate asset portfolios.  In 1988, we further refined our focus, concentrating on the development of retail and office properties.  Today, Hunt Properties is recognized as one of the nation’s leaders in commercial real estate development.
