Emily Hellwig

Emily Hellwig possesses a diverse background in communications and research, with recent experience as a Communications Assistant in the Undergraduate Admissions office at Wake Forest University, where a successful texting campaign was launched to engage applicants and capture authentic campus content. Prior roles include serving as a Research Assistant under Professor Jack Amoureux, focusing on imperialism scholarship and producing a podcast, and acting as a Scientific Communications Officer at IBiS Instituto de Biomedicina de Sevilla, creating engaging digital content. Additional experience encompasses an internship at Hunter, where support was provided to account planning teams, and a Development Intern position at Experiment In Self Reliance, where capacity building projects and outreach efforts were executed.
