Mac Williams

Mac Williams is a board member at Huntress. Mac was previously the engineering manager from January 2022 to June 2022. Prior to that, they were the technical director at the United States Department of Defense from February 2018 to February 2022. Before that, they were a security developer at NetSage from June 2016 to February 2018. Before that, they were a software engineer at TASC, Inc. from June 2015 to July 2016. Mac also served as a software developer at 780th Military Intelligence Brigade (Cyber) from August 2013 to July 2015. Mac Williams began their career as a software engineer at Informatix, Inc. from May 2013 to August 2013. Mac then became a research fellow at Auburn University Cyber Research Center from August 2011 to May 2013, where they researched unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and digital forensics. Mac Williams also has experience in mechanical engineering, having worked as a co-op at Alliance Source Testing, LLC from August 2009 to January 2011.

Mac Williams has a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Auburn University, and various certifications from GIAC, Amazon Web Services, CompTIA, and EC-Council.
