Ryan Dowd

Ryan Dowd is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in various roles within the industry. From September 2020 to January 2022, Ryan served as a Senior Analyst and subsequently as a Principal Analyst at CrowdStrike. Prior to that, Ryan held multiple positions at Commonwealth Bank from February 2010 to March 2012, including Penetration Tester, Red Team Offensive Cyber Security Researcher, Lead Cyber Engineer, Manager of Security Assurance, Executive Manager of the Cyber Security Centre in London, Executive Manager of Cyber Attack Response, and Senior Manager of Cybercrime and Threat Intelligence. Currently, Ryan is a Principal Analyst at Huntress, having joined the company in February 2025. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Information Technology and Systems with a focus on IT Security from Monash University, achieving honors distinction.
