Michael Chen

Michael Chen is an accomplished finance and accounting professional with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the APAC Accounting Director at Huntsman Corporation since October 2010, Michael has held various leadership roles including ASSC Senior Manager and Compliance Manager, where responsibilities included driving performance improvement and overseeing financial compliance across Southeast Asia. Prior experience includes positions as Group Financial Controller at Champ Fungi Sdn Bhd, Finance & HR Manager at thyssenkrupp Elevator, and Audit roles at KPMG Malaysia and Yee Choon Kong & Co. Michael holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from RMIT University, graduated between 1998 and 2000.
