Yangjun Cai

Yangjun Cai is a highly skilled research engineer with extensive experience in polymer chemistry and materials development. Currently employed at Huntsman Corporation since January 2017, Yangjun focuses on the development of formulations for rigid polyurethane foam and polyol synthesis. Previous roles include Imprint Chemist at Bloo Solar, where Yangjun developed high-performance polymer coatings for solar cells, and Senior Research Engineer at nanoGriptech, Inc., where Yangjun led a team in scaling up production of gecko-inspired adhesives and developed innovative adhesive formulations. Earlier research experience includes positions as a Postdoctoral Fellow at both Pennsylvania State University and Texas A&M University, where Yangjun contributed to the development of nanoscale sensors. Yangjun's academic background includes a PhD in Chemical Engineering from The University of Akron and a comprehensive foundation in chemical engineering from Zhejiang University and Central South University.
