Jared Nguyen

Jared Nguyen has held various software engineering and development roles, starting with their current position as a Software Engineer at Hurdlr. Prior experience includes being a Teaching Assistant at the University of Virginia, a Software Development Engineer Intern at Amazon, a Software Test Engineer Intern at Willowtree, and a Software Engineer Intern at the University of Virginia, where they oversaw the development of a math course gamification web application. Jared was also a Computing Researcher for the VA-NC Alliance Summer Research Program at the University of Virginia and a Program Coordinator at Forge.

Jared Nguyen completed their high school education and obtained a diploma from Lake Braddock Secondary in 2019. After that, they enrolled in the University of Virginia and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Jared has also obtained two additional certifications: Blockchain Basics from Coursera in December 2021 and The Leadership Alliance Virtual Professional Development Series in July 2020 from The Leadership Alliance Consortium.
