Eli Shields

Eli Shields currently serves as Managing Director of Strategic Sales at Huron since February 2025. Previous experience includes a range of roles at Optum from July 2016 to March 2025, such as Senior Client Executive, Solution Executive for Provider Analytics, and Director of Field Operations. Prior to that, Eli worked at Premera Blue Cross from August 2011 to August 2016, holding positions like Team Lead III and Training Specialist. Early career experience includes managerial and training roles at Black Angus Steakhouse from October 2005 to October 2011 and coaching tennis at Edmonds School District from August 2006 to August 2010. Eli holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Washington, earned from January 2007 to January 2010, and an Associate's degree from North Seattle College, obtained between January 2005 and January 2007.
