Verda Özer

Verda Özer is a seasoned columnist and journalist who has been writing since 2010 for major Turkish dailies, including Hurriyet, Radikal, and Milliyet, with a focus on sustainability and mindful living. They have contributed to international affairs as a former Senior Fellow of the Atlantic Council and currently hold the position of Marshall Memorial Fellow at the German Marshall Fund. Verda has produced documentaries and video series addressing social issues and has led various social responsibility projects in Turkey. They have also managed academic programs for Columbia University in relation to Turkey and have been widely quoted in international media such as the New York Times and BBC News.
