Husö Fastighets AB is a family-owned real estate company in Söderhamn, in the middle of beautiful Hälsingland. We own properties around Söderhamn and Hudiksvall. Husö was founded in 1988 by Greger Skogkvist, who with his background as a city planner, has always been passionate about the history and significance of buildings in a society and people's lives.

Over the years, Husö has acquired, restored, renovated and adapted properties for people to work, live and live in. Always based on the building's history and with a focus on the people who will be staying in them. Husö has built most homes for people with functional variations to feel safe and stimulated in. In 2020, Husö will undergo a generational change and will be run by the children Fredrik and Elin Skogkvist.

In 2008, Husö Fastighets AB became the first winner in Europe of the “First Green Building Award” for the changes to electricity & heating that were made at Tingshuset in Hudiksvall and the Police House in Söderhamn.

Some of our properties have been built and all have been rebuilt under our own auspices. We constantly review the properties and continuously upgrade them to provide our tenants with a good living and working environment. We strive for long and good relationships with our tenants and guarantee a high quality of management, service and maintenance.

Some of our larger tenants with whom we have a long-term tenancy include the Swedish National Courts Administration, ST1, the County Labor Board, the Police Authority in Gävleborg and the municipality of Söderhamn.
