Will O’Brien

Will is an entrepreneur and investor in Silicon Valley, with expertise in blockchain, data and analytics, fintech, and gaming.

Will has founded three companies and contributed to the successful exit of five companies, collectively worth more than $1 billion in returned capital. He is also an active investor and advisor for 70+ early stage startups and foundational tokens.

Will was co-founder and CEO of BitGo, a leading bitcoin security company. Will is recognized as a thought leader in the blockchain industry and has helped to grow positive awareness of crypto through public speaking, strategic partnerships with incumbents, and policy work.

Will was more recently COO at Keen IO (acquired by ScaleWorks), an analytics platform for developers backed with $30M in venture funding from Sequoia Capital.

Earlier, Will was SVP at Big Fish Games (acquired for $885 million by Churchill Downs, NASDAQ:CHDN), and GM at TrialPay (acquired by Visa, NSYE:V).

Will holds a B.A. in Computer Science from Harvard University and an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management.
