Robert Schechter

Robert is the General Counsel of Hutton Capital Management. As General Counsel he is involved in all of the firm's legal diligence and legal structuring of transactions. In additional he is a member of the firm's investment committee. Mr. Schechter is also Co-Chairman of the National Law Institute and principal member of Edgar Agents, LLC. Prior to joining HCM, Mr. Schechter was a Partner and General Counsel of The Atlas Group of Companies, LLC and its wholly-owned subsidiaries, Atlas Capital Services, LLC, a FINRA Member Firm focused on M&A and Corporate Finance and Atlas Private Equity, LLC, the firm's In-House Private Equity Group. From January 1998 to June 2000, Mr. Schechter was an associate at Yerushalmi & Associates, LLP, a New York law firm, with affiliate offices in Israel and Holland where he represented multinational corporations. Mr. Schechter received his JD in 1997 from Hofstra University School of Law. Mr. Schechter graduatedsumma cum laude in 1994 from Brooklyn College and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
