Jacob Sharp

Jacob Sharp is an experienced Application Engineer currently employed at HVAC Concepts since May 2021, where programming BAS Systems using Tridium's Niagara software and integrating devices through BACnet, Lon, and IP connections are key responsibilities. Jacob previously served as a Computer Science Tutor at the University of Lynchburg from January to May 2019, assisting students in improving their academic performance. Additionally, Jacob contributed musically as a Trombone and Sousaphone player for the Lynchburg College Basketball Band between November 2015 and May 2019, while also composing and arranging music for the band. Prior experience includes a role as a Unix Administrator at Lynchburg College from August 2016 to August 2018, focusing on server maintenance and software updates. Jacob holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Programming with a focus on Specific Applications from the University of Lynchburg, obtained in 2019.
