Martin Helmich

Martin Helmich is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Geschäftsführender Gesellschafter at HWS since July 2021. Prior to this role, Martin held the position of CFO Group Entities at LGI Austria GmbH, LGI AB, and LGI Espana S.L. from May 2016 to June 2021, and served as Head of Finance & Treasury & Tax for LGI Logistics Group International GmbH from July 2014 to June 2021. Martin gained extensive experience at BDO AG as a Senior Manager and Wirtschaftsprüfer, as well as at Arthur Andersen/Ernst & Young AG as a Senior Prüfungsleiter. Early career experience includes an internship at Porsche and training as an industrial clerk at Vermop Salmon GmbH. Martin received a Dipl.-Betriebswirt (FH) in Accounting and Controlling from the University of Applied Sciences Wuerzburg and studied at the University of Plymouth.
