Andre Vega

Andre Vega has been working in the software engineering industry since 2015. Andre began their career as a Software Development Intern at EESAT, where they used C# and XAML to develop engaging option trading data analytics. Andre then moved on to uGRIDD as a Software Engineer Intern, where they built a native library to convert 2D spherical images to cubemaps 13 times faster using openCV, and used linear algebra to transform and rotate pixels from spherical images to cubic images. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer at Hxro.

Andre Vega attended Rowe Clark Math and Science Academy from 2010 to 2013, graduating with a High School degree. Andre then attended the Illinois Institute of Technology from 2013 to 2020, studying Computer Science.
