Sungkwon Park

Sungkwon Park serves as a Researcher and Professor Emeritus at Hanyang University since March 1993, where responsibilities include overseeing communication networks and systems. Park has held various leadership positions, including Vice President and Dean of the College of Engineering, while also contributing as a Committee Member for the Committee of New Technology and Service at the Ministry of Science and ICT since April 2023. Additionally, Park has been involved with KBS as an Evaluator of Management and has served in roles such as Chairman of the Board for the Korea Digital Cable Forum and Rapporteur for ITU-T SG-9. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Master's from Stevens Institute of Technology, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree from Hanyang University.
