John S.

John S. currently serves as the Head of Security Architecture at Cloudflare and is a member of the Technical Advisory Board at Start Left® Security and HYAS. Additionally, John S. holds the position of vChief Information Security Officer and Corporate Advisor at Cold Smoke Technology Group while consulting for 8x8 Inc. John S. has extensive experience in cyber security operations, having previously been the Global Head of Cyber Security Operations, Research & Engineering at Ciena and acting Deputy Chief Information Security Officer. Previous roles include Senior Director of Network Security & Architecture at GRA Quantum and Technical Advisor positions at various organizations. John S. holds a Chief Information Security Officer certification from Carnegie Mellon University and a Master of Science degree from Johns Hopkins University, along with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Information Systems and Technology from Loyola University Maryland.
