Daniel Hansen is an executive, board member, investor, and advisor with extensive experience in the hospitality industry. They served as the Executive Chairman of Summit Hotel Properties, Inc. from 2021 to 2022 and were President and CEO from the company's IPO in 2011 until 2021. Daniel held the role of Chairman of the Board from 2016 until their retirement in 2022. Currently, they are the Global Head of Hyatt Studios and previously led Americas Development at Hyatt Hotels Corporation. Daniel is also pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics at South Dakota State University.
