Deepa Shankar

Deepa Shankar is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in platform operations and technical consulting within the hospitality and technology sectors. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Platform Operations at Hyatt Hotels Corporation since April 2022, Deepa previously held various managerial roles, including Manager of Web and Middleware Services at Travel + Leisure Co. from April 2017 to April 2022, and Technical Consultant and Senior Systems Engineer at Wyndham Vacation Ownership from May 2007 to March 2017. Deepa began the career as a WebSphere Administrator at Federated Systems and has also worked at Lucent Technologies, IBM, and CNA Insurance in roles that honed expertise in middleware and systems engineering. Deepa earned a Master’s degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Dallas between 2001 and 2003.
