Erik Pedersen

Erik Pedersen is currently the Director of Product Design at Hyatt Hotels Corporation, where they lead a team focused on the guest-facing design of various platforms. Previously, Erik served as Principal of Global Product Design at Hyatt from 2019 to 2022 and held multiple positions at Allstate, including Lead Product Designer and User Experience Architect, from 2008 to 2017. Erik also has experience as a User Experience Specialist at User Centric, Inc., where they moderated over 1200 hours of usability testing sessions and developed training materials for clients. Erik holds a Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction from DePaul University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
