Moshi Perera

Moshi Perera serves as the General Manager of Hyatt Regency Nairobi and Area Vice President for Hyatt since June 2025. Prior to this role, Moshi held various General Manager positions at Shangri-La Group from October 2017 to July 2025, overseeing luxury properties in Surabaya and Hambantota. Moshi also worked at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts from September 2015 to October 2017, managing Fairmont The Norfolk and Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club. Earlier experience includes the General Manager position at Sankara Nairobi and multiple roles within Hyatt International, involving pre-opening hotels, general management, and operational support from 2003 to 2011. Moshi's career began at Jumeirah in London and Forte Hotels in the 1990s. Educational qualifications include a Corporate Management Programme from Ecole Hotelier Lausanne and a Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management from Schiller International University.
