Michael Spitz

Michael Spitz is a seasoned civil engineer currently serving as a Sr. Civil Engineer at HyAxiom, Inc. since April 2025. Prior experience includes a role as a Sr. Civil & Industrial Engineer at Naval Systems, Inc., where engineering design and review services were provided for the MCAS Cherry Point Force Readiness Center - East. In 2023, Michael participated in a Cyber-security Project Management Fellowship at Slack, engaging with sales and engineering teams to deliver cybersecurity compliance documentation. Prior to these roles, a leadership position was held at Limetree Bay Refining, overseeing maintenance for infrastructure beyond facility limits, and at APTIM, where program leadership was provided for a large-scale housing recovery project in the Virgin Islands. Michael holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Michigan State University.
