Karin Bäcklund

Karin Bäcklund is a seasoned Public Relations Consultant at Not just Cake since October 2018, focusing on enhancing visibility and brand building for B2B and B2C clients through digital communication and PR. Currently serving on the boards of RUFF Golf and Kliently, as well as being an angel investor, Karin is also a co-founder of PR-kollektivet, a network of senior PR consultants. Karin authored the Smart PR book series aimed at budget-conscious target groups and co-authored "Executive Summary: Sociala medier för styrelser." Notable interim roles include Communications Manager and Head of PR/Communication at Alight, where efforts centered on brand establishment and positioning in the solar energy sector. Karin's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Södertörn University, complemented by journalistic studies. In November 2023, Karin spoke on AI in PR at an industry event.
