David Jones

David Jones is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in technology and venture development. Currently serving as Managing Director at Velocity Partners since November 2008, Jones focuses on assisting startups and early revenue organizations with strategic initiatives. Additionally, Jones holds a position on the Board of Directors at HYCU, Inc., and previously served as CEO of Thales Digital, where leadership in digital transformation was emphasized. A track record of leadership is evident from roles at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where multiple senior vice president positions were held, including responsibilities for Security & Information Governance and Big Data Solutions. Jones also led Iron Mountain’s digital services prior to founding and leading Njini and Network Physics. Educational credentials include an MBA from Stanford University and a BA in Economics and Political Science from Tufts University.
