David Mitchell

David Mitchell has over two decades of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, holding various leadership roles in companies such as Hyde Engineering + Consulting, Bolder Operating Partners, Merck, Insmed Inc., and Baxter International Inc. Their roles have included Executive Director, Plant Manager, Director of Manufacturing, Director of Technical Services, Senior Project Manager, and Principal Engineer/Director of Technical Services. Throughout their career, they have led capital projects, managed manufacturing operations, and played key roles in product commercialization efforts and regulatory inspections.

David Mitchell earned their Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maine in 1985. David then went on to complete their Master of Science in Biochemical Engineering from Colorado State University in 1988. In 2016, Mitchell obtained a certification as a Procore Certified Engineer from Procore Technologies.
